Go Bowling Bowlers and find My favorite Bowling Alley!
I Uttered Oh Know not a Gutter Ball!
If it were up to me Bowling would be a lost art. I think it does take concentration and a wrist that doesn't turn when releasing the Ball. I think I have loose joints. I have bowled for fun off and on over the years and I am very happy if I hit a pin. I decided on one occasion it is in your Mind. If you think you can get a Strike (for all you novices that means you hit the Pins in a strategic place that knocks them all down) you will get a Strike. I stood gazing down the Alley at the Pins and in my mind I pictured all the Pins falling. I must of envisioned too long because the people I was with broke my concentration and asked me, "Are you going to play in this decade?" Now, I felt I had perfect form, my wrist strong, my mind focused, I bent down and released the ball and sure enough the Ball rolled dead center for a second before going off to one side into the gutter. I appreciate this game also requires skill and I will take you to The Viking Lanes in South Beloit, IL. Why "The Viking Lanes?" Well, this is one of the area secrets and soon I will be revealing this year round activity.
