Go Fish Fishermen and find Matt's favorite Fishing Spot!

I Caught a Big One!

My very first experience fishing was with one of those Cane Poles with a Bobber on it. My dad saw the Bobber go under and he said Jot (at the time of about 4 years old that was my nickname) pull it in. I did not know how and yanked the pole up as hard as I could and out of the water flew the fishing line with the hook on the end flying through the air. My Dad grabbed the pole and was quite animated as he avoided the hook. I did not fish again for years. ''

As a teenager I tried again in Rock River in Roscoe with a fishing pole where I could reel it in. Well, low and behold something grabbed my line and it was a struggle pulling it in but I caught a very big Snapping Turtle. I was going to take the hook out of his mouth with my fingers and was yelled at to Stop. As I said he was a snapping turtle so I watched as this Turtle broke a branch that was held up towards his face.

I realized fishing can be serious business so I will be bringing Matt's favorite fishing holes in this area. Who is Matt? I will be unveiling this secret shortly.
