Ray's Family RestaurantWhere is Larry?Ray's Family Restaurant 108 West Main Street in Downtown Historic Rockton.
Who would have thought that a 7 year old girl from Macedonia would end up in Rockton IL as Co-Owner of a restaurant. 
Nancy is always cheerful when you enter Rays Family Restaurant. I have been going to Rays since her brother Ray had it. What happened to Ray? That is another story but anyway Nancy is married to Larry and you don't see him because he is tucked away in the Kitchen cooking (somebody has to do it) I saw Larry a few times and I must admit he would make a good bouncer. On this particular day I asked what she liked about the restaurant. It came as no surprise to me that Nancy said because of the people (and since she knew I was doing this web page she said I was among one of her favorite customers so wonderful, beautiful, fun) Whoops!!! enough about me. Nancy said they do make everything from scratch their crepes, omelets, potatoes and they buy their vegetables fresh. Nancy doesn't look like it but she is a Mother of 4 Children and a grandmother of 3. Nancy decorates festively and seems to enjoy the changing seasons. I asked her what her favorite time of year is and she said Spring. I asked Nancy about her former homeland and she said nice to visit but her home is here in America and she would not have it any other way. Her hobby is work because when you own a restaurant that is your life. If Nancy gets to know you then you become her extended family. Stop in when your in Rockton and say Hi to Nancy and Larry if you can find him. Tell her The Whiner sent you.
