Adventures Near and Far!!
I believe in experiencing as much as you can whether it is in my backyard at the Rhubarb Fest, The Gathering, Old Settlers Days and the Christmas Walk in Rockton or the Fall Festival in Roscoe. The joy of taking your Grandchildren to the Williams Christmas Tree Farm to cut down our tree and enjoy Hot Cocoa or the Pumpkin Patch and Edwards Apple Orchard in the Caledonia IL Area. I have enjoyed Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts as well as the Angel Museum in Beloit, Wisconsin. I have also ventured to Grune Texas and enjoyed the 1800's bakery and a walk along Guadelupe River and traveled up the Mountains of Colorado. I walked Bourbon Street in New Orleans and I have eaten Black Forest Cake in the Black Forest of Germany. I walked the streets of Paris France and went to the Mummy Museum in Mexico. I have enjoyed Whistler, Canada and a boat ride to the Island in the Peugent Sound outside of Seattle, Washington. I have enjoyed the history and ghost stories of Lexington, Kentucky and stood on the 4 corners of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. There is so much more and everytime I travel I wonder; Could I live here? What do I like? Where could the Towns improve? Why are they interesting is it because of the surrounding scenes? Is it because of the events or the unique artistic people? First however I must take you to my adopted town in Grindelwald, Switzerland because that is where my husband Hans came from and he is the first in his family to live abroad. I hopefully will be able to bring you there in pictures and stories. Sit back and enjoy your trip to Grindelwald via Internet and if you really want to go we can give you suggestions on where to stay and what to do. Have fun!
